The Sweatt Center intentionally ensures there is consistent action being made to uplift and progress its members. Being on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin – home to world-class faculty, first-rate research facilities, and nationally recognized athletics – we have access to plentiful resources and are forever dedicated to using them for our members’ benefit. Sweatt in Senegal – Summer Internship Program in Senegal
Spotlight sharing Summer 2023 internship opportunity in collaboration with others out in Senegal.
What is it?
This is an 8-week (June 6th – July 28th) project-based internship in Dakar, Senegal. This internship will provide opportunity for student development of knowledge, skills, and cultural proficiency; companies/entities to experience organizational development and growth; the building of sustaining relationships between American institutions and entities within Senegal.
Bridging the gap between U.S. higher education institutions and West Africa, Sweatt has created this opportunity to grow global investment and increase the opportunity for strategic partnerships both in West Africa specifically and the rest of the globe.
