The Austin Economic Development Corporation stewards public and private real estate assets to create inclusive community benefits and equitable economic outcomes for Austin.

Community Advancement Network

Community Advancement Network is a partnership of government, non-profit, private and faith-based organizations who work together to enhance the social, health, educational and economic well-being of Central Texas. CAN provides a unique, collaborative forum to enhance awareness of issues, strengthen partnerships, connect efforts across issue areas, and facilitate development of collaborative strategies.

Aya Symposium Planning Committee

Plan annual symposiums held at community centers or universities, focused on enhancing the average community member’s understanding of tools available to them as they preserve, document, and promote Texas freedom communities.

Interagency Coordinating Group

The interagency coordinating group for faith- and community-based initiatives is composed of each faith- and community-based liaison designated under Section 535.051 (Designation of Faith- and Community-based Liaisons) and a liaison from the State Commission on National and Community Service. The ICG works across state agencies and with the State Commission on National and Community Service to facilitate the removal of unnecessary interagency barriers to partnerships between state agencies and faith- and community-based organizations.

Nonprofit Management Alliance of Texas

An initiative of the OneStar Foundation, NMAT increases coordination and communication across the nonprofit sector to strengthen the management and governance infrastructure of nonprofits in Texas.

National Board Representation

Association of Public and Land-grant Universities

APLU is a membership organization that fosters a community of university leaders collectively working to advance the mission of public research universities. The association’s membership consists of more than 250 public research universities, land-grant institutions, state university systems, and affiliated organizations spanning across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, four U.S. territories, Canada, and Mexico. DCCE staff represent as leadership on the Commission for Economic and Community Engagement.

Functioning in a collegial spirit, The Research University Civic Engagement Network (TRUCEN) provides members with opportunities to share knowledge and strategies related to how their institutions are promoting engagement on their campuses and in their communities.
