Lin Nguyen is a third year, Radio-Television-Film major. She also holds a minor in Entrepreneurship. She enjoys immersing herself in creative passion projects, such as films, prose, and photo shoots. While she’s still exploring other career fields, she hopes to one day become a creative director of an advocacy marketing firm because she loves creativity, business, and helping underrepresented groups. Lin is very passionate about cultural awareness for people of color, and assisting underrepresented groups with reaching their goals. She is involved with E4 Youth, a non-profit in Austin that connects lower-income students with mentors and professionals in their fields of interest. Lin is also involved with Lions Club, a volunteering organization on UT campus. Lin studied abroad in San Joaquin de Flores, Costa Rica during the mini-Maymester, Socially Responsible and Ethical Leadership Abroad. There, she honed her leadership skills as an organized and honest go-getter. She learned about the skills that go into her leadership style, such as being detail-oriented, straightforward, and responsible.
