October is Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month
SSD is partnering with student organizations and campus departments to host virtual events throughout the month to celebrate and educate around different disability-related topics. Check out our calendar of events online.

Priority Registration for undergraduate students will be Monday November 2nd from 2pm-midnight. SSD will send out reminders and instructions with more information later in the month. Stay tuned!
October 29th: Course Load Reduction/Q Drop Deadline
Undergraduate students who need to drop a class must do so by this date, either by dropping through their college or submitting a course load reduction application through SSD. More information about the CLR process is available on the SSD CLR webpage and Q drop information can be found on Texas One Stop.
Lime Connect Workshop: Successfully Disclosing a Disability In the Workplace – Considering Whether, When and How; with special consideration for COVID-19

Students on the Spectrum Group
This group is a partnership between SSD and Longhorn TIES and seeks to provide advocacy, support, and resources for students on the autism spectrum while they are in college and as they prepare to transition out of UT. Virtual meetings will be held on Tuesdays from 5-6pm on the following dates: October 6th, 20th, Nov. 10th and Nov. 24th.
