Settling Into the Semester
We hope your first week of class went well and your semester is off to a great start! This newsletter is all about connecting; connecting with your instructors, your SSD Coordinator, your fellow students and the many great resources at UT.
Important Dates
Monday September 7th: Labor Day SSD Closed
Friday September 11th: 12th class day: last chance to drop a class
Connect with your Instructors
We’ve already processed more than 4,000 Accommodation Letters for fall! It may take up to 5 full business days for us to process letter requests so please be patient as we process the thousands of requests we get the first few weeks of class. If you haven’t already, submit your Accommodation Letter Request. Once you have been notified your letters are ready be sure to reach out to your instructors to discuss how your accommodations will be provided this semester.
Connect with your Coordinator Virtually
SSD Coordinators are hosting virtual Office Hours each week to connect with their students and address your accommodation-related questions and concerns. Sign up for a slot or contact your Coordinator via email. Only sign up for an appointment with your Coordinator; if their appointments times don’t work for your schedule email them directly to schedule another time to connect. Many questions can be answered via email so that is a good place to start.
